an open mic night for kids living with HIV/AIDS
ASTEP partners with the Incarnation Children’s Center, a residential facility in NYC for youth living with HIV/AIDS and cognitive disabilities.
ASTEP Volunteer Artists lead these young people in activities that focus on developing a strong sense of community, deepening their capacity for creating, and exposing them to the performing arts.
$83 produces one of our monthly open mic nights, which gives residents the opportunity to develop and share their own original material. Through ASTEP, residents develop teamwork, creativity, and collaboration all while having fun!
